PokéBonk Move Learning: Starter Kits, Levels & Free Slots

Find all three starter move panels, compare signature and evolution-line levels, and understand shared League kits, random offers and free-slot requirements.

10/19/2026 Beta v0.6.3 Guide by Last updated: 10/19/2026 4 min read

Where is the complete move reference?

Open Play → The League, select a member, then choose See all its moves beneath Passive & kit. The compact four-attack profile is not the whole reference. A locked partner can hide this panel until it joins your League. We used three existing test Guest contexts to inspect Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle in Beta v0.6.3, on October 18–19, 2026.

All three signature kits

The own-kit section says these four signature attacks appear more often, each from its listed level. The table records eligibility labels, not a guaranteed offer sequence. Physical/Special and attack shape follow the English game so you can match its labels.

Partner Move Minimum level Type / category / shape
Bulbasaur Vine Whip Starter Grass / Physical / Strike
Bulbasaur Razor Leaf 2 Grass / Physical / Burst
Bulbasaur Sleep Powder 4 Grass / Special / Cone
Bulbasaur Solar Beam 7 Grass / Special / Bolt
Charmander Ember Starter Fire / Special / Projectile
Charmander Fire Spin 2 Fire / Special / Vortex
Charmander Flamethrower 4 Fire / Special / Cone
Charmander Fire Blast 7 Fire / Special / Explosive orb
Squirtle Water Gun Starter Water / Special / Projectile
Squirtle Bubble 2 Water / Special / Burst
Squirtle Rapid Spin 4 Normal / Physical / Spin
Squirtle Hydro Pump 7 Water / Special / Bolt

Evolution-line moves and the free-slot rule

The evolution-line section states a 35% chance at level-up to offer one random move from that group, with a free move slot required. This is the panel’s stated rate; we did not measure it. In the list below, 0 means available from the start, and other numbers are the displayed minimum character levels. They are not the levels at which your Pokémon evolves.

Partner Evolution-line move (minimum level)
Bulbasaur Tackle (0), Growth (0), Leech Seed (0), Poison Powder (2), Seed Bomb (4), Take Down (5), Power Whip (9)
Charmander Scratch (0), Dragon Breath (0), Fire Fang (3), Slash (4), Inferno (10), Flare Blitz (12)
Squirtle Tackle (0), Bite (0), Water Pulse (2), Rain Dance (5), Aqua Tail (6), Shell Smash (7), Wave Crash (10)

How do shared League kits work?

The reference says League members sharing a type with your chosen partner teach moves of that shared type or Normal type. A hidden entry from a partner not yet in your League is not a currently available offer. Our one-member test contexts had no active shared-kit teachers. Their panels listed 49 potential moves for Bulbasaur, 24 for Charmander and 38 for Squirtle, including locked moves; these counts describe those panels, not a universal unlocked pool.

Why has a move not appeared?

Check the selected partner, game version and the move’s group first. Next read its level and free-slot conditions, then check League membership for shared kits. Being eligible does not guarantee the next random offer. 4th move adds capacity; Fourth option adds a choice at level-up. Neither promises a particular move. A move remaining at level 1 is a different symptom from an unseen new move: record the actual card and pause screen before reporting it.

Sources and verification

Checked 2026-10-18–2026-10-19, Beta v0.6.3, in the original English game. We directly read all three complete panels in existing Guest test contexts and captured the screenshots ourselves. No new League recruitment, measured probability, later-level acquisition, full evolution or optimal-build test is claimed. The upgrade guide retains its separate earlier before/after run examples.

Continue with actual level-up examples, the permanent fourth slot, starter passives and item damage classes.
